The purpose of a peer review is to assure continuing competence of CPA's who perform attestation and compilation services. Oregon CPA firms who perform attest and/or compilation services are required to participate in an Oregon Board of Accountancy approved peer review program. The peer review program is dedicated to enhancing the quality of accounting, auditing and attestation services performed by CPA's. The program reviews and evaluates those portions of a firm's accounting and auditing practices.
